Opening Soon

Where ideas become tools.

A public workbench for projects worth building: clear scopes, visible progress, early testing, honest updates, and a permanent record of how each thing came to life.

The Idea

More ideas than hours. A better way to choose.

I am always finding useful things that ought to exist. Usually the hard part is not the idea. It is deciding which one gets the next stretch of time, attention, and stubbornness.

The Workshop will make that choice more public. I will propose a project, explain what the first useful version looks like, and set a clear build target. If enough people want to help make it real, it goes on the bench and the build stays visible from first sketch to public release.

No contributions are being accepted yet. The rules and payment plumbing need to be as clear and dependable as the projects themselves, so this first version is a preview of what is coming.

How It Will Work

The whole path stays visible.

  1. 01

    Proposed

The problem, scope, public release plan, and build target are laid out plainly.

  2. 02

    Supported

People decide the project is worth making and help it reach the bench.

  3. 03

    Building

Milestones, decisions, screenshots, problems, and useful updates appear as the work moves.

  4. 04

    Shipped

The finished tool graduates to Builds without losing the story of how it got there.

First Project Preview

Parley

Proposed Support is not open yet

Structured mediation for conversations that matter.

Parley is being designed for disagreements that are too important for a comment thread and too tangled for another round of talking past each other. It gives each person room to respond, reflect privately, and move through a structured conversation with an SI mediator helping keep the exchange useful.

The full project page will arrive with the build scope, milestones, expected timeline, release model, and support rules before anything asks for money.

The Ground Rules

Support the build. Watch it become real.

Not an investment

Support will never mean equity, ownership, profit participation, or an expectation of financial return.

Public by design

Every supported project will state clearly what the public version includes before support opens.

No disappearing act

Updates, setbacks, milestones, and the community-built history stay attached to the project.

A Small Side Door

Need something private?

Most of what I build here is public. Occasionally I take on a private prototype or unusual workflow problem when it is a particularly good fit.
